ScanGrid is a free vulnerability scanning platform that provides security testing tools for websites, networks, and web applications. Our service includes but is not limited to:

• Network vulnerability scanning
• Web application security testing
• SSL/TLS configuration analysis
• DNS security checks
• Port scanning and discovery
• Security report generation

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use ScanGrid only for legitimate security testing purposes. You must:

• Only scan systems you own or have explicit permission to test
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the service for malicious purposes
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Not use automated tools to abuse the service

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Scanning systems without proper authorization
• Using the service to conduct illegal activities
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Sharing scan results of systems you do not own
• Reverse engineering or attempting to compromise our service

5. Rate Limits and Usage Restrictions

To ensure fair usage and service availability, we implement rate limits:

• Maximum of 3 scans per day per IP address
• Scan timeout limits based on scan complexity
• Restrictions on high-impact scans during peak hours

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScanGrid is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy or completeness of scan results
• Continuous availability of the service
• That the service will meet your specific requirements
• That scan results will identify all vulnerabilities

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ScanGrid be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle your data according to our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ScanGrid, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by ScanGrid and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScanGrid operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
