Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the ScanGrid website and security scanning service (the "Service") operated by ScanGrid ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Use of Service

ScanGrid provides a security scanning platform that allows users to scan websites, servers, and networks for security vulnerabilities. You may use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service:

• To scan any target that you do not own or have explicit permission to scan.
• In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
• To attempt to disrupt or compromise the security or integrity of any system or network.
• To conduct any form of denial of service attack.
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network.
• To scan critical infrastructure, emergency services, healthcare systems, or other sensitive systems without proper authorization.

2. Usage Limitations

To ensure fair usage of our resources, each user is limited to 3 scans per 24-hour period. We track usage based on IP address and browser information. Attempts to circumvent these limitations may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your access to the Service.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ScanGrid makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Service.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will identify all security vulnerabilities in the scanned target.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• The results of using the Service will be accurate or reliable.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ScanGrid be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
• Any security vulnerabilities that remain undetected by our Service.
• Any damage that may result from the use of our Service to scan systems or networks.

5. Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes obtaining proper authorization before scanning any system or network that you do not own.

Unauthorized scanning of systems may violate computer crime laws, including but not limited to the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) in the United States and similar laws in other jurisdictions. Violations of these laws can result in civil and criminal penalties.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
