What is ScanGrid?
ScanGrid is a comprehensive security scanning platform that helps you identify vulnerabilities and security issues in your web applications, servers, and networks. Our platform offers 46 different scan types, ranging from basic reconnaissance to advanced vulnerability detection.
How many scans can I run per day?
To ensure fair usage of our resources, each user is limited to 3 scans per 24-hour period. This limit is tracked based on your IP address and browser information.
What is the "AI Explain This" feature?
The "AI Explain This" feature uses artificial intelligence to provide clear, non-technical explanations of security findings. When you see a finding that you'd like to understand better, click the "AI Explain This" button next to it. You can use this feature up to 3 times per session.
Can I export my scan results?
Yes, ScanGrid allows you to export your scan results as a PDF document. After a scan is completed, click the "Export to PDF" button to generate and download a comprehensive report of your scan findings.
Do I need permission to scan a target?
Yes, you must have legal authorization to scan any target. Unauthorized scanning of systems you do not own or have explicit permission to scan may violate computer crime laws and result in civil or criminal penalties. Always ensure you have proper authorization before conducting any security scans.
What are "High Impact" scans?
High Impact scans are more intensive security tests that may be detected as malicious by the target server and could potentially disrupt services. These scans perform deeper checks but should be used with caution, especially on production systems.
What are the innovative scan types?
ScanGrid offers several innovative scan types that go beyond traditional security testing:
- Dark Web Exposure - Checks if your domain or company information has been leaked on the dark web
- AI Vulnerability Prediction - Uses AI to predict potential security issues based on patterns
- Cloud Misconfiguration - Identifies potential security issues in cloud resources
- Supply Chain Risk - Analyzes third-party dependencies for potential vulnerabilities
- Social Engineering Susceptibility - Assesses how vulnerable an organization is to social engineering attacks
Is my scan data kept confidential?
Yes, ScanGrid takes your privacy seriously. We do not store the actual scan results beyond what's needed to display them to you during your session. For more details on how we handle your data, please refer to our
Privacy Policy.
